Custom Training offers specific cardiovascular/aerobic training
for people who are interested in general fitness, training for
a specific event such as marathons, 10k races, race walking,
and any other type of endurance event, etc. Custom programs
can be developed for persons with known cardiovascular or metabolic
disorders who have been approved by a physician to participate
in aerobic exercise. |
An effective
aerobic exercise program can benefit an individual in many ways.
Overall cholesterol drops, the ratio of "good" cholesterol to "bad"
cholesterol improves. The level of circulating blood lipids called
triglycerides falls. The net effect is that blood is less likely
to stick to artery walls and cause obstructions. In fact, the build-up
in your arteries can reverse itself by regular aerobic exercise.
Aerobic exercise also causes a rise in the body's metabolic rate,
so that you burn more calories even when you are not exercising.
This helps you lose fat, which also helps the heart.
